This one was a rather hard song to make. It took over a year for me to understand what the first sketch was all about. I suddenly discovered the true meaning of the lyrics and could then sing the song like it was meant to be. I finished it just in time to put the EP out.
Endless rows of seats, filled with empty faces
And from the colorless screens,
it pours illusive safeness
And from their pale shines i can tell,
Their worlds have stopped to bloom.
Cause time stole their love back all too soon
Their love has gone too soon.
We would be the liars,
denying that we see,
We would be the liars having lost ourselves again
We should be the fire,
waiting to break free
We should be the fire burning down all this again
It only takes a little kick,
to make you breathe again
Just send your little wish into the wishing wells.
It only takes a little push,
to make you care again
We‘ll make you care again
Our children shouldn‘t take the way we took to get here,
where everything we do is so dark, so dumb, it scares me
But time stole their love back all too soon
Their love has gone too soon
